Author Bio
Jan was born in 1947 in Barnet, Hertfordshire, and despite physical difficulties, eventually trained as a registered general nurse in 1965 and then specialised in occupational health nursing, working in many factories, offices etc until her journey took her to British Telecom International as a Senior Nursing Officer, where, aged 41, she met partner number 3, who whisked her away from London and off to Swansea, where her spiritual journey began in earnest.
In 1990, whilst Jan and her husband were running a large bed and breakfast that Jan called Fairyland, and later, in 2003, an alternative health centre called The Relaxation Experience, without knowing how, she began to meet and interact with Beings from other dimensions, who directed her to train in many healing arts and mediumship and it was these Beings who subsequently encouraged her to write her first book about her amazing life’s experiences.
Now, aged 76, Jan’s focus is shifting to healing and teaching through her written words and she aims in 2024 to give talks about her book to adults and children, helping them to gain some of the tools they need to navigate through life. She especially wants to share with young children her wonderful experiences of seeing fairies.
Jan loves music and reading and particularly likes audio books, listening in the evenings, with a gin and tonic and feet up in her peaceful cottage, surrounded by a waterfall, two rivers and a canal, where she now lives alone. Her hobbies include tending her garden, keeping fit by going regularly to a health club to swim and enjoy the steam room, sauna and gym, various forms of artwork, and generally having fun with friends, fairies and Spirit Guides. Her mobility is limited so she enjoys trips in nature, especially by the sea, in her mobility scooter which fits neatly into the boot of her car.
Jan’s three children, and her four beautiful grandchildren, who love listening to her endless stories of fairies and magic, are spread throughout the UK, but all get together often in Wales, and enjoy exploring the fantastic beaches and wildlife areas there.
Through all her personal and work experiences, Jan has finally come to understand the meaning of unconditional love, for self as well as others, follows her intuition and enjoys all that life has to offer, endeavouring always to Trust, have gratitude and live in the Now moment.
